Bod Hat

Hi everyone, I hope you have had a good start to your week, albeit somewhat noticeable, that today feels very much like winter again in many parts of the country! Typical Spring weather, some might hasten to add! I thought those days were over for this year, but I have yet again put together our favourite lentil soup recipe, in the slow cooker for dinner tonight!
Thank you so much for the amazing responses to my recent releases, the Pod Hat (not to be confused with the hat featured here) and the Melancia Cowl.
A special thanks to those who jumped on board when I (re) offered my Pod Hat design with a discount, as part of a fund raising effort for Oliver Thompson last week. That effort was advertised on Social Media, offering a smaller discount and a $2.00 donation per pattern sale to the give a little page for Oliver and the family. It all happened in rather a hurry, as the page closed on Sat 7 Sept and I only found out about Oliver's situation a few days prior.
I was however, happy to be able to donate funds to this cause, so generously enabled by some of the New Zealand knitting community, in a very short space of time.

I seem to have become rather fixated on designing hats lately,
and the Bod Hat is my most recent .
Even simpler than the Pod, but with triangles again the order of the day, this pattern also features a very easy to follow chart that effects a rather striking, textured stitch pattern.
Once more featuring 5 sizes, this pattern is a 4 page download.
Instructions are written for the brim and the crown shaping, and the body of the hat is worked by following the chart. It's not difficult at all! With only knit and purl stitches, it soon becomes a very intuitive knit.
Suitable from child to large adult, unisex, and once more, perfect for gift knitting - and stash busting, this hat may also be knit to any length you require before shaping the crown, depending on whether you prefer a Beanie or a more Slouchy Hat. Knit in the round, and designed for DK weight yarn using a 4 mm (USA 6) circular needle it is sized to fit the following head measurements:
XS: 46 cm/18''
S: 50 cm/20''
M: 55 cm/22''
L: 60 cm/24''
XL: 64 cm /25''
And to celebrate the release of this design on Ravelry

Thanks again for your amazing support. I appreciate it so very much!
And the warmest of regards on this rather cold day!
Bronwyn
