In case you're wondering, I used scraps of DK weight yarn ( 5 - 7 metres, tops!) and a 3.5 mm crochet hook to design this star, which is VERY quickly whipped up and which also has numerous possibilities for yarn/hook adaptations! I am even thinking of making a LARGE one using several strands of stash yarn! I have sequin yarn and all sorts I can haul out, so I'm quite excited about it now!

In the meantime, please enjoy this pattern with my compliments.

It makes a great tree decoration, gift tag, garland - you name it, there will be other uses I'm sure!
